Before you add a bot

Community bots are third-party software. All bots in your account share one computer, so a second bot is not a security boundary.

  1. Read the preview first

Open the share link and read the public description. If it stays unclear what the bot writes, sends or deletes, that is already an answer.

  2. Only use genuine links

Only add bots via links like https://x.ai/bot/…. All entries on grokbots.de use such links.

  3. Compare the profile

After adding, check that the instructions and skills match the preview.

  4. Connect services one by one

No connections are copied when you add a bot. Connect the services you need yourself, one after another.

  5. Let it read first

Start with a task that only summarizes or lists. Nothing that sends, pays, posts or deletes.

  6. Then routines and write access

Turn on recurring routines and actions that write only once the bot has proven itself.

  7. No keys in instructions

Never put API keys or passwords into instructions. If a bot asks for that, report it to us.

Be especially careful with bots that move money or trade, send or post on your behalf, or delete files and data.
